About Kase

As I landed in Australia, I realized the spelling of my name created a lot of confusion. It took a month and a half for the director and ensemble of my first project, Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, to discover the correct pronunciation. One day, a coffee girl removed all doubt as she wrote Kase on the cup of long black I ordered.

Originally Dutch, my parents moved to Spain when I was only 3 months old. I was raised on Ibiza, where I developed the dream of experiencing as many lives as possible—a drive that inspired my career in acting and writing.

At the age of 18, I moved to mainland Spain and obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a bachelor's degree in Media Communication from the University of Barcelona. During my studies, I attended a winter course at the St. Petersburg State Arts and Theater Academy and pledged myself to dedicating my life to performing arts.

In 2009, I got accepted into the Royal Superior School of Dramatic Arts in Madrid and founded the independent theater company Panyvino in 2012.  As artistic director of Panyvino, I produced and directed 7 original plays and adaptations for the alternative theater scene, including Valle Inclán’s Bohemian Nights adaptation, “Valle Intrap”, acclaimed by Spanish theater critics. Alongside, I worked as an actor for Russian theatre company Chejov’s Lens, contemporary theatre company Metatarso, and several film production companies, including Bambú, Reno Films, and Globomedia.

In 2021, after participating in “The Reality”, presented at the Valladolid Theatre Festival and el Corral de Comedias de Alcalá de Henares- one of the most iconic theaters in Spain, I moved to my birth country to meet my partner, Angela, and become a father.

In 2025, Angela and I decided to raise our daughter, Roma, in Sydney, to be close to Angela's family and enjoy the blessing of living outdoors. Shortly after our arrival, I signed with agency Select Actors Management and started developing Novum Sydney, a theater company focused on creating Science Fiction for the stage.
